Arthritis and Exercising

Why People with Arthritis should exercise !

Many of you might question, "If I have arthritis, should I still exercise? But it's painful, should I exercise?"

What you need to understand is that the right exercise will actually help the joint, start slow and controlled then moving onto more vigorous exercise as the body and joint permits. It's all about training smart!

Moving the joint will encourage fluid in the join to allow more smooth movements and also to get the blood flow to the area.

FILEX 2011

Inspired and Re-energized!

Over the weekend, I attended FILEX (Fitness Convention) in Sydney, Australia and the atmosphere was amazing.

So many fitness professionals gathered in the one place to learn new things, to reconfirm what they are doing and to meet new friends!

The 3 day Convention consisted of theory and practical work with exposure to other fitness professionals relating to both the business and training aspect of fitness.

These situations really inspires me to be even better, the convention has re-energized me and I am more in love with my job than ever!

Just thought i'd share these thoughts with you all :) If you want to know more about what I learnt, please let me know!

Grocery shopping - What to buy?

Grocery shopping a little challenging? Not sure what to cook?

Are you struggling with what to buy when you go grocery shopping and what to cook to eat?

This is a common problem and with limited time after work, it makes the whole 'eating healthy' even harder!

I would like to get your feedback if you would like some help in this department whether you're really struggling to get your eating on track or would like more simple ideas, I would love to hear from you.

I'm keen to help some of you guys with this after the Easter break.
